Vermiremediation: Analysis of contaminated diesel in soil using Eisenia fetida and ZnO nanoparticles with cow dung

Cow dung is a valuable source of manure to improve soil quality. This study aims enhance the quality by decreasing diesel contamination in through vermicomposting cow and nanoparticles ZnO. Using powder made from dung, zinc ions may be easily converted into ZnO nanoparticles. To increase soil, Eisenia fetida mixed with was used. These were characterized FT-IR, SEM, TEM. The impure soils examined for 70 days gas chromatography. Observations showed that samples without earthworms had higher concentration than earthworm present soil. In this method, (4.5 ml) reduced almost 50% after days. Diesel concentrations significantly during sampling time they later contaminated E. .
